I'm thinking that I hope you have 400 bucks for new CV boots. Assuming you have someone do it for you.

You'll see. Time will tell. Do you know what droop is?

You know... the only instructions that mine came with were how to handle the install on the top of the assembly. Nothing about how to orient the lower cup.

Steve, do you know what's the worst to expect from this reversed install? Should I be handling this immediately (like tomorrow before work) or do I have time to think about doing it like next month or something?
Thanks!

I would reverse it in a timely manner, not tomorrow morning, but maybe this weekend or next weekend. Those shocks are expensive.

The Bilstein Cup goes down and the OME cup goes up. If you put the OME cup down you will not get any lift.

I wouldn`t think it would hurt much for the time being and just staying on the road but if it was me I would be jacking it up at sunrise.

You must also be doing this because that really sucks when you think you got it and later learn

With 5" of suspension lift, I doubt that.

If Brian's cups were down, then maybe that would explain why I had 2" or less lift w/ 882's and no winch.... Hmmmmm...

Well, good to know I have the cups on right afterall.

Schaefer... Do my boots look to be at too much of an angle??? I thought they looked fine compared to some that I see on the boards.

As for droop, Im guessing I wont have very much. That sucks.

See, thats the thing...I DONT have 5" of lift.

I have 3 to maybe 3.5" of lift. I just finally LEVELED the front with the rear. In the rear I just have my HD coils and shocks.

Someone give me some stock measurements of clearance and I'll see what I really have.

Its funny, but, after all this time with the OME setup on, once I added the cornfeds, I honestly have the best ride I've ever had.

Yeah, they are. But damn, my truck is still very fast

Im waiting for a 1.5" BL then I'll get 33x12.50.

Unfortuently I have no job and no money, so I guess that wont be for a long time. hah.

I think you could clear 33s with no BL and a lil trimmage, no? anyway, your truck looks nice, just needs to be slow!!

So whats the verdict with the cup?? Does the coil actually fit down in the cup, or do you turn the cup upside down so that the coil fits on the flat part?

Only way to find out is to drive it. If it's too much the boots will tell you.

What OME coil do you have?

Anyway SC4Runner:

Do you realize what you have stacked up there:

1/2" of lift from the trim packer
2 1/2" of lift from the Spacer
If it's an 881 1 to 1.5" of lift.

So you must have at least 4" but more than likely 4.5". Jack the front up and see if it droops at all? Seriously.

You have some weird VooDoo there if your not getting these numbers.
