coolant seeping out from the front flange of the catalytic converter
Ive had my truck laid up for a couple weeks in the garage while ive been dealing with my locker install.
Get under it today to do some wrenchin and notice a small leak spot on the ground up front. I check it and theres coolant barely seeping out from the front flange of the catalytic converter. Keep in mind it hasnt been started in a couple weeks.... Whats up with that??
Ran it, it all burned off..no coolant in oil, no oil in coolant, runs like a top.
Should I be worried here?

could it have gotten splashed there? i'm gonna echo what i'm sure you thought, namely WTF? it just shouldn't be there. hearing that you cleaned it off, and have driven it around since then makes me wonder if somehow it was splashed. also, sure it was coolant? (dumb Q. but i had to ask.)

Im sure it came from the inside of the exhaust manifold somehow and leaked out the first flange on the cc. It was coolant for sure. Today I checked under it and it was all dry. Started right up, no smoke, ran great. Im just gonna drive it and keep an eye on it.

I had the exact same problem. It was leaking onto the bellhousing. I took it to Firestone(a complete bunch of idiots) and they did a pressure test and told me it was a bunch of crap that wasnt.
Took it to a shop who only does imports, and they told me it was just a hose that had leaked...supposedly its notorious of it. You cannot see it by just looking under there, you have to pull the intake manifold off. Hope this helps.
