Coolant leaking from the upper hose after changing the coolant

How's every body doing? After changing the old red coolant out and replace with the new one. Burping the air out. The truck ran fine. However, I've noticed the lower hose is not that hot compare with the upper hose. And there's little leak from the upper hose to the engine head. I did replace the stock clamp with the new one. Tight them up pretty tight, it went away for almost a week. And now it's happening again. Any idea what's to check, or how do I get all the air out of my radiator? The coolant reservoir is almost empty when this happened, I just put some more Toyota coolant in there and the temp gauge in the dash is at the middle. Can some one shed me the light on this issue. Thank in advance.

If it was time to change the coolant why not the hoses as well.

Did you clean the surface of what the hose seals on a little dirt can cause a slight leak.

Once I had a car that no matter how tight the hose clamp was it would leak. It ended up being a head gasket issue and the pressure forced out the coolant. If you start the engine cold with the radiator cap off, do you see bubbles?

Lower hose should be cooler... its the return to the water pump after the coolant goes through the radiator.

Most likely just need a new hose. As they age the hoses are exposed to many heat cycles and become "formed" to the location they are in with the clamp they have on them. Most likely when you replaced the clamp the hose moved slightly and now it is not settled exactly where it was for XX years and is showing some weepage round the barb on the intake manifold. A new hose should be all you need, and a bit more coolant since you'll have to drain it down to swap them out.
