convert non-ADD front diff to ADD?

Is is possible to remove the passenger side cv axle tube from a manual front differential and install the ADD components? The bolt patterns are identical-I just dont know if an ADD stub will fit into a non-ADD differential and still enable 4wd).

Thanks!

yes it's a direct swap, many have taken off the ADD system when going to manual hubs. If you do the swap you'll need the two vaccum relays and related wiring to make it function properly.
