I couldnt agree more with that. Yea maybe some of use fix ours up in different ways but they are all very nice rides to have and be proud of.

Can I say ALL 4runners rock?

FirstToy's, Calrockx's, Fourunnabilly's, Momo's, and Woodbert's standout in my mind. Guess I'm a little biased towards the 4th gen, being a proud owner and all. All those 4runner owners that just have pride in their Yota, are just good people! Especially those that blaze the trials and tribulations of upgrades and modifications, so the rest of us can do it without trouble!

well put.. i love my truck, and this thread is just here to highlight what we all like in eachothers rigs, not to make anyone feel bad for not getting recognition or whatever.

GATORSR1 hit the nail on the head with that last sentence

Darren's Ride

Im personally a big fan of Darren's truck. I just dont see very many in that color and what he's done to just makes it perfect. He didnt go overboard with anything. Its just right.

Right on Darren!!

I want to add here but everything's already been mentioned.

I'm a big fan of all those really cool trucks already mentioned; Rob, 44runner, Baja -
Things that involve a lot of work and experience behind it like SAS and rebuilding your rig, I mean how do you feel comfortable taking a CUTTING device to your truck

Then there's also the homemade mods - I think it's really cool to see stuff where people actually take something that's meant for something else and tweak it for their use. Stuff like Bob's cupholder mod, Steve's Caddy write-up, Corey's maglight mod on the Huskys, the deckplate mod, Haveblue's claybar substitute (yeah, I know that isn't an actual mod but I still think that's really cool ).
The list goes on...

Personally, I like almost all 4Runners except lowered or ones with big rim/low profile tires. The bling, bling ones.

I'll take 6 of the one on the left. Imagine how much play I could get cruising circles around the mall in that trick-azz hoopty!

Big Bad Blue's Faves

The list would be so long if I were to mention them all. So I will just pick one fave out of the 1st 2nd & 3rd gens.

1st gen award goes to 4 TheHardWay, His 4runner is an idle of mine.

2nd gen award would go to Gibby, His rig is so massive looking with that sas

3rd gen award will go to MadChemist, he has built his 4runner to perfection.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Those are just my favorites from the top of my head so dont feel left out. I love all 4runners, especially built ones.

Blue

It can sometimes be really painful getting in your personal rig (at least in my case) after you've spent hours reading about all these nice built rigs in here, if it's a RUNNER or TACOMA or whatever it may be.

It's happened to me before, to a point where I say, "What a POS I drive."

More than anything, I've gotten use to my truck after having it for the lenght of time that I've had it. At first, I wanted to sell it and get myself a TACOMA but now I say to myself, I'm going to make this truck mine and put as many miles as I can on it.

It's just a matter of adapting to your rig and be happy with what you have, I suppose.

Wise words of the day.

Hah! Glad I'm not the only one that does this. I get down and out until I say to myself "Hey self, you're only 20, you're doing pretty damn well for someone your age."

Being young kicks ass, because you always have that excuse to fall back on.

I learned to drive on a Chevette. Good fun.
First car was a Datsun 280z at 16. Bought it for $500 and had it over 140mph. That alone was worth the $500. Awesome car, I even almost bought another one as it was so much fun.
