Comparable Tires Please

I'm in need of some new tires (really... the fronts are BALD!). I have a friend who gets discounts on anything and everything having to do with cars, so I need to have him price me some tires. So far he's only done GY MT/R for $750 balanced and installed, and Uniroyal MT/R for $450 balanced and installed. I'm going with 285/75/16 tires, with superior traction. I don't care about road noise at all. I would like suggestions for comparable tires to Goodyear MT/R's. If you know some OTHER THAN Nitto Terra Grappler, Uniroyal MT/R, Dueler AT, and BFG TA, please post them here. Thanks!

Zach

What size tires you getting? If you've gone for the lift to actually wheel it and not for looks then get 285/5r16 MT/R's. If you like the tough stance but rarely offroad maybe REVOs would be good.

There is nothing comparable to the MTRs. They rock. That is all.
