Cold auto trany shifting..slow

Ok ..I recently aquired a 95 4 runner v6,auto trans.
the last few weeks wnet back to being cold in the morning and I notice that as I get on tthe freeway about 5 min from house..trans takes a bit to shift into 4th it seems. Winds out to about 4500 then shifts..it has been consistant in duration shifts at the same time every morning it seems.
Anyhow, I had the tranny flushed and filter changed and it did it this morning on the way..anybody got a clue of this ?

They don't shift into overdrive until the engine reaches a certain temperature.

You may want to refrain from winding to 4500 when the engine is cold. If you can help it that is.
