In the haynes it says adjust the pedal off the floor to the middle of the rubber pad. Ok but is it vertical off the floor or horazontal with the slanted floor behind the pedal or slanted on the slanted part of the floor to the pedal? This is with a ruler.

perpendicular to the pedal surface. Like a "T."

 

my FSM (for a 94, but very prolly the exact same for your truck) says 6.2" from the slanted part.
