Exclamation clutch isn't working

the other day while driving my clutch seemed like it went out and the peddle become really loose and has no resistance when pushing it in. It wont go into gear and i had to tow it home. I was puting fluid in it and pumping the clutch and saw my slave cylinder was leaking so i replaced that. I tried to bleed to line and i unscrewed the valve on the clyninder and some fluid came out. THen i screwed it tight and tried the clutch and it still doesnt work. Any one have this happen or have any ideas on what i should try next?
