The other thing is because the bar isn't horizontal the axle will shift left and right more as the suspension cycles rather than if the bar were horizontal.
Leaf springs brother, leaf springs.............................

The 3rd Gen stock rear suspension is designed to do one thing. Ride nice on the road. If you think it's anything other than that your crazy.

The rear leafs I have climb and flex twice what that stock suspension did. Cheeses new 4 link will be even better yet.

Bottom line does anything on Cheese's 4Link look anything like the 3rd Gen stock suspension. No.

I roll on the ground laughing at some of those old posts on 4X4Wire. Man were we all clueless.

If the lengthened links wer added, would it effect overall pinion angle? Would the spring mounts also need to be re-welded to a different location?

eh.. Id probably do a leaf swap before going through all that... ? The torching off of all the mounts scares me though.

That's the tricky part. No you would not have to cut anything off the axle. But basically you would do the lowers and then set the pinion angle and measure for the uppers.

Nothing you can do remote. You would have to be here in Arizona. I have 2 spare sets of uppers and one spare set of lowers, we would just have to sleeve the tube and make them longer. Not a big deal but your not here.

I'll fly out there ?

Oh wait.

There has got to be a way of calculating it. Of course I dont have the correct tools to measure the angles between the links.

I don't need you, I need the truck. You would have to drive here or find someone over there to help you.
