making me wonder whether or not my other one will hold up now? It doesnt leak at all so I dont think there will be a problem.

I was rebuilding some Wilwood Dynalites and spoke to them several times about disassembling the caliper body. They were very clear that the customer should not split the caliper and wouldn't tell me the part number for the seal. They offered to pay for shipping to have it shipped to the factory in Oxnard to have it reassembled with a new body spacer if I needed it. I'm not surprised Toyota would state something similar.

There must be some mysterious forces at work here for something that seems like such a trivial task on the surface... Maybe it's a liability thing...

On that note, I wonder if reman calipers even have new o-rings between the body halves...
