changing antifreeze

i am looking in my Haynes manual and it says to remove the radiator drain plug and an engine block drain plug...... I don't remember removing the engine block drain plug last time..... is this needed and if so where is it??? thanks

its not really needed to remove it, if u pull the theromstat it will drain most of the water out of the block. or just leave it and refill.

This picture was taken from the passenger side wheel well, it shows the block drain port, the drain bolt is right above it. Install some tubing on the drain port, route it into a bucket, then turn the drain bolt until the coolant flows out the tubing.



Picture with the tube installed on the port with the drain bolt above it.
