CD player wiring harness
I am trying to take my old cd player from my tacoma (99) and put it in another car. What I am looking for is the harness that plugs into the facotry deck so I can hook it up in the other car. Anyone know where I can get this part or what my options are? Will this be a cost effective option? I like the look of the deck and its stock feel and would like to keep that. Any recomendations?

Ummm, this could be more trouble than it's worth. But, Crutchfield should be able to get you a cable: http://www.crutchfield.com
The issue behind what you're looking to do is that many of the factory system pieces are melded into a single functional unit. So, the factory CD player may depend on the factory head unit to fire up.
Considering the prices of new gear these days, you could drop something in the other car that would potentially give you more functionality for under $100, and a lot less aggrevation.

Its just a reverse harness mated to a regular harness. Any Bestbuy/Circuit City would have those. I put my 99 Runner stereo in my AllTrac for a while...worked great!
