Ok, so yesterday I was driving and my cd player worked perfectly. I got home, went upstairs, had a lunch, then probably 30 minutes later I left, and it was not working! I can hear it spinning the cd, but it won't play it. I tried all my cds too just to be sure it wasn't the disc(anyone ever had this happen to them??). SO today, I went to Toyota to get a new cd player(mine is still under warranty). what a perfect time to check out the ugly new 4Runners! when I asked a rep there if they had any in(I didn't see any outside, or in the showroom though there was a sweet tricked TRD MR-s) he was like sure! there's a silver one. and pointed me to an '02. anyways, the new cd player is on the way, and they didn't have any '03s there. hopefully they will next week when I go get my cd player

just thought I would share my story.

Well, my CD player quit after almost 10 years of use. Not bad considering the amount of use it has gotten. The CD quitting was definitely the last straw - since my antenna got snapped off back in May. I guess I could play a tape - oh, wait a minute. I haven't had a tape since 1984

I have a cheapie Alpine CD head that I'm sticking in there until I can take the time to put my competition gear in there. I need to pick up a CB to put under the head though. Got a fixed antenna assembly for $35 from the dealer. I combed the salvage yards - they were picked over or had vise-grip marks on them from someone who had the same idea.
