can i just swap out 3rds

i was looking to lock the front of my new 4runner, 88 with sas. i happen to have an extra elocker 3rd laying around. i know i would have to modify the housing, but would it work in the front axle.

As long as you're using a 8" Toyota front axle, you can swap in the e-locker with the housing mods.

yup its an 8" front axle, thats good to know, looks like im about to have front and rear elockers.

yeah, im keepin the 97 for a while. this one needs a bit of work before its ready for the road. hopefully in a month or 2 I will be driving it.
