campershell window out.... any replacement ideas?

i had my 4Runner broken into about a year ago and instead of breaking out the door windows... they idiot broke one of the sliding windows in the fiberglass shell.... since then the morons at the dealership dont have a clue and some glass guy wanted to saw into the window frame of the shell to install the replacement glass.... Heck NO! So anyone know how to install the glass? the plexi is working fine for now but is ugly!

I guess it depends on what kind of windows you have...

but if you have the typical black framed ones (like a regular camper shell - maybe 4runner is different but similar), with a bunch of little hex screws on the inside of the frame, going all the way around the window, then try this (you might need to see ahead of time about getting a new rubber seal for the broken area):

Unscrew all of the hex-head fasteners from the frame (make sure you are parked on a fairly level surface - so the window won't fall out when you remove the screws. It's easiest to do this with a drill and hex bit - there are alot of screws.

Next, pull the inside frame off of the window. You should now be able to pop the whole window assembly out of the opening (from the outside). Once you have the window assembly out, you can take it to a glass shop to get it measured and fitted for a new piece. I didn't pay attention when I had mine out, but I am sure there is a way to remove/install the glass from the frame at this point. You probably just need to remove the seal.
