Calling Azrain

Hey Man,

Hope your Holidays are going well.

Just wondering if you are still considering skid plates for the 2nd gens?

Thanks and Merry Xmas

You might want to look for him at 4x4Wire. I am not sure how much time he spends here since he is a moderator on the 4x4Wire Toyota 4Runner & SUV forum. Have you tried PMing him?

I wander around here a bit.

The problem with 2nd Gens is twofold... 1st, there is already a handful of skids out there. IIRC, Downey, NWOR (beware of NWOR), Pro-Comp and I thought I saw that Bud-Built makes one as well. 2nd, I haven't hooked up with anyone in Phoenix that has a 2nd Gen to measure out for a prototype.

Finally, I'm sticking to one off projects these days as the market is so poor for a production run of skids there is no way to re-coup the development costs. I'll be hooking up with Lefty in the next couple of weeks to build one for his 4th Gen.

I think Adrian (Flygtenstien) has a thread on 2nd Gen. skids in the Off Road Forum.

Regards,

Mike
