What a A$$HOLE

You ask for suggestions and I gave it. If you are too dumb to know what kind of wheel you want you can shove my suggestion up your you know what, Dickhead. If you did not read what I wrote in the subject line then read before you open your ass!

Fellas, fellas, fellas...chill. Come on now. This thing has been up for less than a week and already you are fightin'. Come on, we are all friends here. Let's all just get along.

As far as the wheels, I am not to familiar with the "technical" aspect of it all, but I do like looks. I really like these and I am always saying chrome. The thing with painted and allow is that they get dirty, the paint chips, etc. Chrome is really tough, really strong, and looks damn good! Just my two cents. I would check out American Racing . :beaver:

Keep it clean guys, or this thread will be locked/deleted.

Also MaukaRunner, we will not tolerate personal attacks on this board. Please keep it cool under the collar, mmmkay?

Yeah its funny that some boards actually seem to encourage smart asses and sarcasm, but I'm totally new to Corey's new place here and I'm 100% sure he is not going to cultivate that kind of vibe. That dog just aint gonna hunt. I'm sure the lesson was learned, and I hope you find some wheels that suit you. Sorry I cant be more help on the offset/backspacing question.

Those are a little bit slick/pimp looking for my taste, but hey, I'm sure the ho's will like them. They would look better on my Supra than on a truck IMO. An SUV is a middle ground for wheels.. get whatever ones send your brain the 'shwing!' signal.

They are pretty sweet. I really like chrome, but that it because I don't go offroading that often, if at all. But they do look cool?

Mark, Just checking that you go the switch that I sent you? Everything alright with that? Thanks again dude! :beaver:

Ryan: Oh man that was a disaster! I hooked the switch up just fine but not being technical about electronic issues I assumed (crossed my fingers) that everything was compatible. It wasnt. The second I turned the switch on it fried it.. it melted the connectors. But you did everything you promised- I have zero problems with you about any of this. Just a slightly painful little lesson NOT to blunder into the electrical system again. Drat.

You burned it! That really sucks. I am sorry to hear that. When I was reading the post and you said it was a disaster, I thought I messed up. I am sorry to hear that. You actually blew the switch? What were you doing with it??? :beaver:

Another shot of some wheels

Guys here's just one more shot of some wheels. These are American Racing Atlas's. I ordered them off of Wheels for Less.com and told him what they would go on. He hooked me up with the specifics. I do know the bolt pattern is a 6X5.5 on Second Gens, does that help?? hahaha Anyways here's the pic

Yeah, they do look pretty cool. I like them alot. I don't have the $$$$$ right now, but I think that I do want to someday get a new set of wheels. We'll see. I like them though. Do you remember what they ran you? Just wondering? :beaver:

I am kind of partial to these fake bead lock look from Weld Racing.
Since real bead locks are illegal to run on the street most places, it's the next best thing if you like the look.
ZMan has some black ones on his rig called "Street Locks" that look real good too.

These alloy ones above though are very expensive. I rad about them in a mag I bought a few months back, and I guess they can take just about any abuse you throw at them.
Very strong.

They also make one called the Mountain Crusher which is similiar.

Corey
