Bumper fit

I am going to say no on this particular one. Here is the reason why:

Your truck is a limited with flares on it, his being an SR5 should not have them. The fit would then be different on the two. There are some bumpers that do span between the two production dates but the possiblity of these two having the same bumper are very slim.

Hope this helps you.

Just to be sure, are you talking about the front or rear bumper?

Bumper

The front bumper, if it is the rear then it definitely will not fit.

Cool. Also, I think the front of the frame rails changed in '99. I think they have an extra tab/plate on the front because of the front bumper change that happend in '00.

Thanks.

If the '99 won't fit, I have the one from my '98 I be willing to part with since I have my TJM now.

Thanks Keisur , but what I am trying to do is convert my front end over to the 99 style , I just like it much better with the round driving lights and how the lower valance look compare my 97 bumper . Keep hoping someone can come up with an answer , I know someone will be able to help , George is dying to get rid of his bumper.

I thought PP had the valance that you can buy that has the spots for the round lights. might check that out if that bumper won't fit.

Hey Saigon...I live in San Jose and would take your stock bumper, as my 1996 limited has a dent and would like to replace it, let me know if you sell it.

I believe we have covered this topic before about updating the bumpers. Try a search, but also try contacting Jason B - I believe he knows the answer.
