Anyone know what size the license plate bulbs and the reverse bulbs are? Thanks. Later.

Plate bulbs

The plate bulbs on 2nd Gen's are 194's. I'd imagine the 3G's are the same. BTW, 194=168 if you are doing the PIAA Super Whites.

Not sure on the reverse lights, Joey (UKMyers) has replaced his reverse lights with PIAA's so he knows the #.

Reverse 194's

Really? I had them out and thought they were bigger. I wonder if I switched them to a bigger bulb a while back and forgot. I'll have to pull them when the freezing rain lets up. I wonder if I can find work in AZ?

lol - pretty much.... we do well here when technology stuff is on the rise... but since the damn economy crunch...layoffs are going on like crazy...and this town is made up of a lot of engineers (raytheon, Allied Signal..etc) so... theres a lot of unemployment here..i hear its much the same in Phoenix too.

Tucson

Hey, my inlaws line in Saddlebrook. I usually visit once a year. Easter is a favorite time for me in Tucson, since it's usually snowing in Pittsburgh. Nice golfing there.

wait I have a 3rd gen, and I swear that I have the 7440 PIAA bulbs, and then i went to change then they didn't fit! because you take the bulb out of the hole that it's the light thingy, I don't have to seperate the light housing from the black part do I? I hope I am making sense. Maybe I should go try again?

Sleepy:

Just unscrew the 2 black phillips head screws and pop the light out. Then unscrew(twist)the bulb out of the back of the housing......5 min swap out

The reverse lights in my 2nd gen are size 7440 i believe. The numbers "921" are written on the bulb when i took them out. they are 21w (the standard ones are at least).
the license plate lights are 194/168.
The parking lights are 168/194.
