As luck would have it, it feels 3 times worse now that they've been resurfaced. The truck literally lunges back and forth while braking, especially downhill.
Is this normal for rotors that have just been resurfaced? Do the pads have to adjust to the resurfacing or something? This doesn't make since....any help would be great, thanks.

Don't feel bad. My old Pontiac had brakes changed 13 times (dealer under warranty) in about 2 years. They refused to put the proper correct size brakes on there since they do it by the book. Once the warranty was up I took it to a local brake shop and that is where they told me they were too small for the size/weight of the car.

Update:
Well, the problem is finally gone I took it back to the same mechanic, and they resurfaced the drums this time instead and that got rid of the problem. Free of charge
Only downside is that I've been told that now my rotors/drums dont have much life left on them, and will eventually need replacing sometime in the near future.
For now they're smooth as butter and thats what counts.
Thanks to all that replied, I'll be sure to refer back to this thread when shopping for new rotors!
