One thing I noticed with the BR-3 is that it's a bit disapointing that the system doesn't support CAN (you need to buy a seperate BR-CAN setup for that) as well as be backward compatible with the older OBD II protocols. They must have chosen to do that for some reason since the new Auterra supports all protocols, old and new. They also have a Windows verson too.....only crappy part is the price is $200 for the Auterra vs $100 for the BR-3 (but if you'd have to buy both setups for CAN and legacy stuff you come out almost even).
