both passenger windows and front passenger window have stopped working

I think its just a wiring problem because at night.. the auto lights on the front control panel on the drivers side door lights up.. well the drivers window auto light comes on but not the passenger side window. So that leads me to believe its just a wiring issue.

How would I go about fixing this because Im not a very car mechanic savvy guy but I dont wanna spend prob looks like 400 bucks to get it fixed from a dealer.

do you mean both rear windows when you say both passenger windows in your title? And is the auto light for the passenger window on the driver side control panel or the passenger panel? The reason I ask is because apparently (at least on 99) on the driver side panel only the driver window auto button illuminates. On the passenger panel the auto button does illuminate, but not the one on the driver panel.
By chance is your window lock button on?
