Boring Out Aluminum Wheels

Boring Out Aluminum Wheels
I want to put the Enkei Deep Six wheels (usually on a Tundra) on my 2wd 1996 4Runner.
The Toyota dealer wants $400 plus per wheel. I can buy them from the aftermarket for $200 plus. By my calcs they should fit except the after market wheels have a 78 mm bore. The 4Runner needs 108 mm bore. I am tempted to order the after market wheels and take them to a machine shop to bore them larger.
Has anybody done this? Does anyone have any advice?

i had a set of wheels and tires for a little sports car by ADR and i sold them to a guy with an '01 VW GTI, when he went to mount them he ran into some problems and took them to a machine shop to do some modification on them, i don't know specifics but they are on his VW now with no problems. not much help i know, but maybe it would put you at ease a little more to try it out after my wonderful story
