I tried one of the red Optima spacers first but it made the battery too high, so then I made my own. I like my home made one better anyway, the plastic one slides around too easy.

I just extended the cables of my stock battery connectors for a new battery. The job was easy, just like extending any other electrical wires. The hardest part was getting the right parts for the job.

i heard sometimes the blue tops dont work too well with auto application and dont re-charge with the alternator. is this true?
