Quick question. My Vortex has gotten louder and lost some of it's 'throatiness' and 'deepness'. Could this be from the fiber-glass packing blowing out? It's still deep, just not as deep. I've had it for about 4 months. Any reasoning?

 

Most mufflers tend to mellow with age. But I doubt it would change much after 4 months. Although, straight through mufflers tend to wear out faster (in my experience) than chambered mufflers.
