Big dogs in your 4Runner

I have a pair of 100lb hounds... want to take 'em with me when we go camping etc.

Anyone transport two bigger dogs in their 4Runner?

Would love to see some photos of the dogs in the truck, how much room they have, etc.

Thanks!

We have one 90 pounder back there, no pics though. She likes to lay down on longer trips so I'm not sure two 100 pounders would have enough room for that??

2 100 pound dogs in the 4Runner: What other vehicle are you going to use for your camping stuff?

55 lb hound mix on the right, and 100 lb boxer mix on the left. The big one is in the crate because he likes to chew my truck up.

I went wheeling with a guy that had his year and a half old French mastiff in the back of his 3rd gen 4Runner. ( dog was like 150 lbs and still growing )

90 lbs black lab.

I leave the windows down, especially the rear window so that she gets plenty of ventilation while driving. I wouldn't have any issue putting a 2nd dog back there if I had one. I usually put the back seats down when she's back there, but she fits just fine even when I don't.
