I had a 95 and I loved it since the day I bought it till the day I sold it! :pat: :pat: :pat:

The neat thing about my 95 is it had the rear A/C heater very nice option I used it all the time.

The only thing I am disappointed is with the gas mileage but I had 33s and a locker. And Power! What the heck is power? I only found out that I had power when I got my V8 Tundra

I have a '95 and love it. What I do like about the older models, as others have mentioned, is the grill with Toyota spelled out. Hmm, I assume a grill off of a '90 or '91 would fit a '95?

Ditto, except mine is a 93. 125K miles and no problems.

Well my dads been driving it for a couple days now and he says he only heres a slight ticking sound...when he gets home tonight we're gonna for a joy ride in it so I have him hear it. If he can't hear it then maybe its nothing serious but I would feel a lot better just taking it in so I'm not sure yet.

Thanks for the concern KING!

Well, as I said in the other thread that you started on the knocking, you hate to see something like this happen after you've taken all this time and money adding aftermarket features.

Sorry for hi-jacking the thread however.

FINK's thread was submereged.. LOL

Yeah, it took me 10 minutes to find my own thread...but then my ignorance went away and the flashing green button that sometimes seems to just disappear in my mind caught my attention and I found it.

Call me crazy but I like my '92 runner better then my 2000 I just sold. It just feels more like a truck. It has a certain character about it that I just couldn't find in the 3rd gen. Although, I did like the 5spd and the 3.4L engine.

My '92 has 4.88's and Rear-Only ABS. It has almost 100k miles now and runs just like it did when I bought it 4 years ago with 63k miles. Also looks the same; the interor has held up great and still looks like new. It had the hg done at 57k before I bought it with no probs yet.

2nd gen's rock.

So how are the leather seats in these? Worth it or no? Although we really arent talking all that much more to get leather...

This one has my eye right now, but I am soooo scared of those miles: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEBWA%3AIT

Were you the winning bidder? Looks very nice. Thats how many miles were on my 94 when I bought it. It was in excellent condition then and still is.

No I didnt get it although that is a GREAT price for it. There are a bunch more in similar condition...Im trying to find one a little closer to home...that one was a good 20 hour drive, but if I can get that price again...I'll do it.

Anyone with leather?

I would advice against the leather option if you plan on getting dirty and then getting in your truck...I would go with cloth and save up for some Wet Okole's or something similar, thats what I'm going to do.

But if you can find another rig like that with a price like that...DO IT!

I have had a 94 and a 95. I didnt notice much difference in them with the options really the only one that was obvious is that my 95 came with a stock 3 disc changer, and was leather.

And about the leather seats in the second gen poboy, mine are a little stiff and have cracked a tad bit up front, but are like brand new in the back.

Definetly get leather if you can. I had a 93 with the blue/grey cloth and my 94 with leather. The leather is much easier to keep clean and stay clean. I have two kids who constantly spill food, drinks, track mud in etc, etc. I have camped a lot with both vehicles and the leather is still in great condition. I have had wet dogs on the seats and left the sunroof open in the pouring rain. Just wiped them down and there as good as new. My leather looks as good as those pictures on Ebay but I have the oak color. My 93 had stains on them and they retain smells because stuff goes deep in the fabic and foam. I always thought leather should only be in luxury cars but I'll never have a car/truck unless it has leather. I use good leather conditioner once a month and my car smells like new.

I love my 95 BTW!!!! I would not want another model, though I am dropping in a 3.4L with SC as soon as I kill this engine.
