The best place to mount a tack?
I now no that most of the 1989-1995 4x4 Trucks with the 22re don't have a tack. I need one and was looking for the best place to mount one and also some info on a good model to get. I can't believe that they dont come standard. Like what the hell. Anyway what else can i add to the dash to make it more like the sr5? I have a good idea of what i have to do to swap 1990-1995 4-RUNNER seats in but thats it, oh and also i now have a good idea of what i am doing to the engine. Thanks
anyhelp is great

Not sure how important an 'SR5-faithful' outcome is to you... If you want to preserve the SR5 motif, then yes - a gauge cluster swap would be the way to go. If you just want a good tach, you can get aftermarket ones in a variety of sizes and styles.
If you go aftermarket, bigger ones are most popularly placed on the dash. Smaller ones can fit really well atop your steering column.
