Dibble, Town Fair Tire up here in the northeast offers that 30 day return policy on all its tires. I know this probably doesn't help you too much, but check around at some tire stores down there in VA. They also match any advertised price which is cool.

I also am running the Toyo Open Country AT's and i love em in the snow and rain. I haven't taken the off road too much other than some muddy dirt roads, but they were great there. I'm in the market for new tires in a couple weeks since my lift will be in soon. I"m gonna check out the Revos and if i don't like em in 30 days, i'll probably go back the Toyos.

BFG AT's have been leading tire for all terrain types like forever. I really liked my 285/75/16's. they wore like iron, and were awesome in the jersey style snow even when half beat.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

The best AT tire that is reasonable on road and good off-road is the BFG.
The best AT that is reasonable off-road and good on road is the Dueler.
Honorable mentions go to the Cooper SST and Yoko AT

I like the way you put that, comparing on and off road. That means a lot to someone like me -- I'll be making the tire decision soon.

I have been very impressed with their performance. I did have a bit of a cupping problem in the front. I was one of those folks that never rotated tires his whole life and never had problems, until these tires. They must be rotated or the cupping will create some crazy road noise. As for performance, they are the best wet and dry tire I have ever had on a truck. I have had them off road afew times and never gotten stuck. They fling mud well and did not cake up even in the clay/mud that we have. The tread life is probably shorter then the Revo's but the tractiopn I get in the heavy rains and all around driving make up for it. I haven't had any other tire make me feel safer and for under $100 per tire installed at Discount Tire, I couldn't be happier. I got a set of their HT for my wifes Durango and have been very impressed, but it never goes off-road. Hope that helps.

I love the look of the BFG MT but will be mostly on road. How do they hold up?
I'm torn between AT or MT.

If you decide on the MTs and most of your miles will be on pavement, I would suggest that you get them sipped, as a sipped MT will give you better traction on wet pavement and will keep the tire cooler for better longevity/tread life.

I ran a set and LOVED them! The tread life is very poor, but they held on dirt and pavement way better than the Bridgestone A/T's I just put on - But I didn't have enough to get the revo's.

I had a set of Yoks on my '97 and you are right that they performed well on road and I thought the tread pattern had a decent agressive look and I while I only saw 14k miles on 'em before I sold the '97 they showed little wear but with the 50k warranty I wasn't overly concerned.

Now on the '99 I'm going to try a set of 265/75 Revos in a couple of months plus Costco has a good enough deal that they're comparably priced with a set of Yoks from Discount Tire.

Mine came with the TRD Wheel package-- the BFG AT's are great had them for more than 4 years now and still have plenty tread life on them... How can you resist these tires...!!!

The BGFs do look the best but no mileage warranty and low resistance to hydroplaning will keep me from buying them plus my truck is a DD and I need better on road manners.

P.S. - Those wheels are SWEET!!!!

Toyo Open Country A/T. A very quiet tire that does great on wet and dry conditions.

BFG AT K/Os here. The Geolanders are alright. Wouldn't mind trying the Revos. Maybe next time.
