battery light help
My battery light on my 97 4runner reciently came on.I had the battery out for 2 days while I installed 2 new airbags and module, I put a new battery in and the alternator IS charging. I'm at a loss. It wasn't on before, just the airbag light but the bags and module took care of that.Could that be something that has to be reset? Thanks Bill

Okay, so I found my problem. The white S signal wire from the harness that plugs into the alternator had a break in it and lost communication with the battery. I soldered in a new section of wire and the battery light went off.
On a side note, my mpg improved because the alternator is no longer constantly running at full capacity.
