I've been noticing my battery is leaking. I didn't know what the wet was so I cleaned it all up.

After coming home from work I popped the hood and wetness was dripping from the battery...???!!^%@$#@

Why would a battery leak..??

Get it outta there pronto and get a new battery..nevermind the leak. Battery acid will eat your paint and body!

 

I just ran up to AutoZone and got a new one...

It was an old NAPA battery that was leaking.

Out of all the cars I've had over the years, I've never had a battery leak on me....

 

Good, was probably just a defective battery or it was hit or jarred somehow either by you or from transit or the store and now it is leaking.
