Axles and third member removal 3rd gen

Can anyone tell me if removing the axles and third member on a 3rd gen 4runner is the same as on the 2nd gen. thanks

Not sure on removing a 2nd gen. Never done it. But I have removed my 3rd gen rear axle to modify it for the e locker. Only 4 bolts, track bar and some brake stuff and it is out. Pretty simple.

as for the rear axle, same deal. unbolt the brake lines, 4 bolts on each side for the axle shaft and slide em out.
