Axle Code Q 4.30 or 4.10?

My Model # VZN185l-GKPGKA says 4.10 with 265/70 and 4.30 option.
If I have 265/75 tires AND the E-locker, SR5, Auto tranny, would you assume that I have 4.30 ?

Don't assume. Check so that you know for sure. It's really easy.
Leave the tranny or transfer case in neutral, with you rear differential unlocked. Lift one of your rear tires off the ground and leave the other on the ground. Mark the driveshaft with a piece of tape or a dab of liquid paper so you can count the revolutions. Get a friend to help you spin the tire while you lay under the truck and count the # of revolutions the driveshaft makes.
Get your friend to rotate the wheel that's off the ground exactly 20 times. Count the # of times the driveshaft rotates. Devide the number of driveshaft revolutions by 10 to get your ratio. (If you have 4.100 gears, the driveshaft will rotate 41 times... 41/10=4.1. If you have 4.300 gears, the driveshaft will rotate 43 times... 43/10=4.3.)
If you want to do it with the rear diff locked, lift both rear tires off the ground, get someone to rotate a rear tire 10 times (the opposite side tire will also rotate 10 times in the same direction when the diff is locked.) Count the # of times the driveshaft rotates. Devide the number of driveshaft revolutions by 10 to get your ratio. (If you have 4.100 gears, the driveshaft will rotate 41 times... 41/10=4.1. If you have 4.300 gears, the driveshaft will rotate 43 times... 43/10=4.3.)

I agree on checking.....takes a little time but you'll remove all doubt from then on.

for V6's: Auto's w/o E-Lockers are 3.90 for 4WD SR5's and 2WD Limited's and 4.10 if they came with a large tire package on the 4WD or a Limited 4WD.

Why does he use the model number?
Shouldnt he be using the axle code (-01A on his picture)?
I thought thats why those were there.
C/TR = color and trim
A/TM = Axle ratio and transmission
I dont know what those are for every axle seeing as how i am new to my runner, but maybe thats what this thread could turn into.

What you're looking for is the A/TM code on that sticker. The "A" is your axle code, and the "TM" is the transmission code. The code tables that I have found don't seem to be very accurate for new vehicles. The easiest way to find out what your code is for sure, is to physically check it. I explained how in the post above.
