Need some help with this one. Looking to get a set of performance friction pads for the front of my 01 4runner and my local autozone has me slightly confused. I told him that I am looking for part number 5024 and he is saying they don't have a part number like that. I say ok well then I will need a set for a 96 Land Cruiser and he tells me it is part number 0502-20 and they are only $26.99.
Seems to me they are $36 at all other Autozones so I am thinking this may not be the right part. Any ideas on what the magical words are to get a set of the correct pads? Thanks for the help.

That info on Gadget's site (I assume that's where you got the $36 price from) is very old.

The number for those (5024 PF) pads is 0502-20 so the guy wasn't lying to you.
Also the price on the pads had certainly gone down so don't let that throw you off.
