Why does my rig make the electric door locking sound when I get in? The doors don't lock and I don't have any remote locking features.

 

Is your truck on? When the keys are in the ignition it does that to make sure you don't accidently lock your keys in your truck. It's not the locking sound you're hearin, but rather the UNlocking sound.Try locking your doors with your door open and the keys in the ignition and you will see what i mean. Hope this helps.

 

Mine does it too and it's actually locking all the other doors except for the driver's door when you actually start it;it's a safety feature.

 

Mine just started doing this after I think I unknowingly put some key/door/lock switch combination last night. I actually was unable to lock my doors on either front door switches. Then I tried some unknown combination with the door open and the key in the ignition. Now I can unlock the doors, but the doors automatically lock after a minute. Does anyone have the combinations for these crazy options? I know I will lock my keys in my ride with the locks locking automatically.
