ATF Flush/Change

Just had my ATF changed today in my 2000, and I don't know if it's just me, but this thing seems to pick up and haul some ass now more than it used to. Is there any reasoning behind this or is this just psychological?

BTW- The 183 HP V6 produces some nice power. I'm really suprised at how well it picks up, especially if I'm coasting at around 30-40 MPH, then open up the throttle. Toyota makes one efficient yet powerful engine and transmission! I can only imagine what it would be like supercharged and with an upgraded fuel delivery system!

Hi,

No it is not psychological... I had my transmission fully flushed too few months back and I too noticed more power and better acceleration. All I know is that with new fluids the transmission is more efficient is and less power is lost at the rear wheels....thus you have more power at the rear wheels! Someone should dyno b4 and after transmission fluid flush....it's gotta be at least 5hp rear wheel...since you can totally tell the difference after flushing...
