ARB Prado on my 3rd Gen.
#63
Well it's a sunny day here in FL and the gears, lockers, and aisin hubs are in and working in harmony. I though before I take the State GC exam I would install my Tacoma ARB bumper on the Runner. Well I forgot I had to cut the damn tabs off the frame but after that everything went swimmingly. I'm still unsure how I feel, the gap is larger than on the TJM. On the plus side it does look tough as hell. I also had to re clock the T-max which I couldn't find a damn thing online about but I don't play games I tore it down figured out what need to go where and put it back together and BAM the winch was clocked in the right position.

I'll have some final shot on tomorrow so I can go poser shot hunting. That what sucks about moving to a new place I don't know where any good poser shot places are.

I need to take some level and from the top shots so you can see that 2" +/- gap , not fond of the gap but I'll deal with it. It does look tougher and definitely more stout.

I'll be in the same boat as you when I put my 2" body lift in, have to do some custom brackets, or thinking about making a filler piece to sit in the gap, sorta the same idea as that plastic piece on the top of the ARB Sahara bar.

Well I loosened the bumper bolts (6) and lifted it with 2 hi-lifts 1 on each side the tightened the 2 lower bolts to hold it in place. Removed the hi-lifts and centered 1 between the lights and lifted to help level it out. Re-tightened the remaining 4 and a quick once over on the lower 2 and like that it looked better. Since I have a 1" the gap isn't too bad, and I think I can live with it.
