Aquamist high-speed valve question

Where are you guys putting the high-speed valve for the WI? Should it be as close as possible to the throttle body or does it matter? Gadget's instructions just say to find a suitable location.

It doesn't really matter... Some place that makes sense, and where the hoses will be exposed to minimal heat.

Are you running a URD tank? If so, then the AM pump fits right on it, and you can put the valve down there too. That'll keep it out of the heat. I have a LOT of heat under my hood and I blow that plastic line all the time.

(when did you get an AM system? hmmm... )

No URD tank, just a washer bottle. I got it when I got the SC and URD kit about 6 months ago. Here's what I got installed so far: http://community.webshots.com/photo/...42310107rvyYZM

I can see his point in that once the pump starts, you have to fill any empty space in the tube before you get mist out the nozzle, but 6"? You're in quite the hot zone at that point.
