The picture I posted was the original picture from the titanmotorsports website. The first one you have there isn't the ride height he has. So I believe the second one is the undoctored one.

some of those runners I posted earlier are on the shuei kit. It lowers it by 3" i think. I remember seeing one on ebay from a long time ago but I couldnt afford the 600 bux for it...used too.

You can try to ask Jburtman to see if he can order you some because he makes orders overseas from japan. Well he can order them from Japan shipped to you.

I'm from the Tuner era been down with this stuff for 15 years but I bought a 4Runner to do something different this thread has some very nice 4Runners in it a 1" drop is not bad, 1" is enough for a 4Runner like with anything suspension wise, lifting or lowering you must got over 1" to be really noticed I put 20"s on my 4Runner they "lifted" my Runner up 2" from stock height and I lowered my Maxima 2.5" so I ride low in my Max and ride high in my 4 runner

IT’S YOUR CAR, TIME AND MONEY MOD IT HOW YOU WANT!

I agree. Just buy a mini van- its already lowered, it doesn't have all those icky dirty 4wd parts, it has more room, its cheaper and it gets better economy. Play with the engine a bit and you get more horsepower too. Makes way more sense to me.

I bought the 4Runner because it was designed to go off road and it would require less modifications to do exactly what I wanted it to do than just about any vehicle out there.

So if you want a great platform for a sports car, buy a sports car.

Maybe you snarky mcsnarkers should get a clue and realize that some people think lifting a truck and putting oversized, even "pretty" rims and tires while driving it on the street chugging gasoline is pretty "stupid" but usually those people don't have to actually bring it up butting into others conversations, trying to belittle them in the process. You ain't as smart as you think you are pals, thats for sure.

You guys are so tough that you have to always do what everyone else is doing, and try to control freak everyone else who thinks differently than you... If we all thought like you do, nothing would ever progress or be invented. You make me LMFAO while reading your hillbilly john boy comments.

My 4runner is stock (2wd, btw) and i plan to keep it that way. Call me "stupid" i guess. I bet you wouldn't hear a lowrider fiend criticize a highrider, stocker, or no one really.. Maybe that tells you a little something about the character of people "not like you" cause it sure does for me.

Minivan?? C'mon... I hardly know a female that would drive a minivan much less a guy. I for one, will never drive a mini-van. No matter how practical they are... Plus, if you READ THE THREAD, they aren't wanting to slam it, just lower it a bit for daily driving. Why use a 4Runner for a daily driver? It actually doesn't get bad mileage if you a, lift it and but big heavy tires on it or b, drive like a race-car driver. Lets see... they are reliable as hell, can tow if needed and you can find them cheap... Sounds like a good dd to me...? I personally haul a lot of crap around with me especially film equipment which would not fit into a car. (even a full size) and go look at most sedans now-a-days, hardly any of them have rear folding rear seats..??

Anyway...
My assumption is the 1" lowering springs are meant for the 2wd so if you have a 4x4 then it would be 2". If I remember correctly the lowering springs were progressive. I can't comment on ride b/c I never got them installed before shipping them off to Zubaltec.

Cool,
Why do you think Zubaltec's truck is too low? It appears to still be well over 1ft off the ground. It looks lower than it is b/c of the huge side steps he has on there. Also the tires he has on there are probably pretty tall. We are used to seeing 15-16" wheels but those are 18s so they might seem low profile-ish looking but they probably aren't as small as you think.
where did you bought the springs to lower the 4runner??
