anyone have problems with..

anyone have problems with..

alignment after getting a lift installed. i got a 4inch procomp lift, and currently, its in the shop (past 2 days) they are trying to figure out why it wants to pull to the right. anyone have this problem? any suggestions?

Maybe just a hint about what vehicle you drive would help. You probably have mentioned it before but its impossible to keep track. We have 1000 members now.

I'm guessing 2nd Generation 4Runner and the lack of an adequate panhard rod drop on the rear end. Then with the rear axle sticking out to the right they are trying to use the rear tires as point of reference to align the fronts.

Just a shot in the dark till we know what vehicle we are talking about. Help us help you.

Pretty good assumption, that would be my guess as well.

I was told by many mechanics that after you get anything done with your suspension it is a good idea to get it realigned

sorry, its a 93 runner. the axle was sticking out to the right a bit, but they said that the fixed it and they still couldnt get it aligned correctly..

How did they raise the rear of your rig?
Custom springs & spacer to match the 4" in front?

If so, you should have got a panhard drop bracket like the one in this pic here.

It lowers the bar back down so it is even horizontaly, thus sucking the right tire back in again.
Make sure they are aware of the drop bracket like Matt mentioned above.

Mine just sticks out a tad, not enough to worry about on mine.

corey- i dont know exactly how they raised it the 4inches...whatever came with the 4inch pro comp lift..:rolleyes: im thinking springs, but, i honestly dont know
