Referencing my other thread... Could this be a problem with my torque converter going out?

 

I doubt it is the torque converter, unless you get the vibration at all times, even when the trans is in neutral or park. The converter is directly linked (bolted) to the crank via the flex plate, so it turns when the engine does, and at the same rpms. If the vibration only happens when you are moving, it has to be driveline related.

 

Well, this is the first time I am taking mine to the shop for anything major. The problem is, it could be the transmission (which I've never worked on), transfer case (which I've never worked on), differential (which I've never worked on), or the drive shaft (which I can't balance). Either way I am either to ignorant or ill equipt to get the job done. :-(
