Anybody used these?

I came across these today. I don't remember NWOR offering coil springs for the 4Runner before. Unless someone can give me a convincing reason not to use these springs, I'm going to call NWOR tomorrow and see how much they are for a set. I have an aversion to PP, but I couldn't find anyone else (until now) that made a 1" lift spring set for my truck and I was pretty much decided on buying their springs.

I haven't been able to find any reviews of these springs either...

Any info appreciated!

Thanks
Dr. Z

I read a thread on 4x4 wire where a couple of guys really disliked those coils. They said the ride was way too stiff and bouncy. They persuaded me not to look further into them.

Hope this helps!

Cheers

Yeah, I saw that after doing a search on ODW. Seems he's a really picky fellow. THREE sets of springs on the rear of his truck? His opinion of the springs doesn't really push me away from the NWOR's. He thought the PP springs were too stiff!

He doesn't use his truck the same way I use mine. I WANT a firm ride. I like to feel the road or whatever surface I'm on. I hate the "disconnectedness" of my truck's present state.

Thanks for posting that all the same Beowulf! So far that's the only review I could find.

Peace!

Dr. Z, NWOR is abut 1.5 hours from me.
I hate to say it, but they have a bad rep with us here in WA. state, and abroad.

Very poor customer service too.
Look at my pic here of the Downey's for 2nd & 3rd gens.

They state they don't care for progresive type coils like NWOR uses.
From what I have read around the 'Net, myself I don't think I'd buy from them again.
I even had an incident with them one time.

Thanks Corey. I'll take that under advisement.
