any brighter corner lamp bulbs?
Hey all,
I'm sure some of you have figured out a way to make your corner lamps brighter, and I was just wondering, what bulbs do you all use to accomplish this? I saw a 4runner a while back that had some really bright corner lamps and it was awesome.
I was thinking about installing some small fog lamps inside the corner lamps. Would probably help in rain and fog and give me some brighter lamps too.
Well, have fun.

Just about every company that makes aftermarket bulbs make corner bulbs as well. PIAA makes em, I have Phillips, Sylvania makes em, and I am sure there are alot more.

I have the Phillips bulbs that came as a bonus with my H4's and they give off a slight blue tint and are quite a bit brighter than stock. PIAA eXtreme superwhites would look good in there too!

Jason B has PIAA bulbs (both headlights and corners) along with the newer style lamps/lenses. I think they are superwhites, but hopefully he'll chime in here. I saw his rig last summer and his corner lights are bright as hell... brighter than my driving lights it seemed. I was very impressed, and I don't care much about that kind of thing. He's got a sweet rig... do whatever he did and you'll be happy.
From my limited experience and the zillions of posts about lights on these boards I've learned this: To get bright light, you need to be able to produce bright light (i.e. good bulbs) and you need that light to get out from behind the glass/plastic lamp/lens housing.
