I hate the Dunlops that came on my 04 4runner sport. I have the vibration everyone talks about on their 03's with the Dunlops. Has anyone changed out the tires and what did you replace them with? I want Bridgstones.

 

Try and force the dealer to swap out for set of Michelin Cross Terrains from another truck. My dunflops vibrated on the ride home from the dealership so I turned around and went back. The dealership said they've had so many problems with the Dunlops they weren't even going to try and balance them and took a complete set of Michelins off another 4Runner which means some poor SOB got mine. The Michelins are great, smooth, good wet road traction. Haven't had the truck in snow yet but I have a feeling they'll do fine. Only downside is when it comes time to replace them - they ain't cheap!

 

I put the 265-70-17 Dueler A/T's on my 03.

I love them. BTW, I had the Dunflop AT20 and they sucked.

 

I fortunately got the Bridgestone Dueller H/T's but replaced them with BFG AT ko's 265/70/17. I still have the Bridgestone's with only 360 miles on them. Let me know if you're interested in buying them, email me at hre814@aol.com. Good luck!
