Another question about wheel spacers !!!

I am planning on putting the Tundra brakes on my 4runner and if I decide to run the 231mm I would rather put on wheel spacers then grind down the caliper and and the back of the wheel.

I would like to run a 1/4" spacer and will I have enough thread on my lugs to be able to run it? I have an 98 SR5 with the 6 spoke wheels. Is there anyone besides PepBoys that sells the spacers? How are their quality?

I also figure that it will help if I ever decide to 285's.

Well if someone wants to swap me straight up for my wheels with good tires for there I would be all about that but I doubt that's going to happen.
