amsoil air filter question

ok, this is a stupid question, but I am trying to figure out which way the air filter goes into my 2000 4 runner.

Does the foam side with the amsoil logo go out, or does the wire grill side point out? I currently have it foam side out, but it doesn't seem to fit too well.

Thanks for your info!

Foam out. Grill in. It should fit snug. I don't have a logo on mine. But it's a year or two old. I assume you have the proper filter.

YEAH AMSOIL, ok, what Jade said..

I recently installed Amsoil AF into my 00 and noticed the fit was what I had expected (compared to the factory paper filter) but it does go in, and about 500 miles later I notice a little more pick up and go.. I think it was oiled a little heavy from the factory.

I think Jason B has some pictures of his install somewhere..
