Am I getting a bad deal on this tacoma???

Its a 2001 Toyota tacoma prerunner Double cab with the TRD package (rear lockers)
120k miles
Automatic transmission
Pretty good shape with few cosmetic issues.

Asking price is 9k
Located In TX.

Is this a fair price or should I look around for a better deal??

ps he hasn't changed the timing belt/water pump.
Im not sure if the Tbelt needs attention or not, but with the mileage im sure it needs replacement.

If it was 4x4 I'd jump on it. Find out what he did as far as maintenance, check the oil level and what it looks like. I'd pay 8500 for it if the tires are new.

EDIT:
It is NOT a TRD.
Its the SR5.
No lockers.

flashkl - prerunners are all 2WD.

omg - Are you looking for a 2WD? Is the guy the original owner? Maintenance records? If it's been kept up real well, then it's not that bad of a price, but not that great, either. I don't know if the transmission fluid, xfer case, differential, etc. fluids have been changed, and if not, it needs to be changed asap. The timing belt could be okay, as long as the water pump is not leaking. I'm at 121k and my timing belt looks great. I'm not planning on changing it till maybe 150k or until the water pump starts leaking.

Also, for me, I see no point in getting a pick up without a 4WD. Just like getting a sports car in an auto. That's just me, though. If you don't need 4WD or lockers, then maybe that's the truck for you.

Overpriced for what it is, move on and keep looking you will find the right one, at the right price if you are patient.
