Alternative Spring Swap

Does anyone know if the rear coils from any other vehicles will give the lift and added load capacity similar to that of the Downey swap? I remember when I had the Pathfinder, you could swap out the rears for Ford Bronco/truck coils to achieve that effect.

Those moght be tough to find around here - many Toyota parts are. It'd be good to find something Ford or Chevy. Does anyone know the years on the Landcruiser coils?

What about Yotayard? They specialize in Toyota parts, are in Colorado, and will ship to you.

Do a search for Cruiser coils. Flygtenstein (Adrian) is running these.

You might want to check out Slee Offroad . He does a lot of Land Cruiser lifts using OME coils. Those old Toyota coils have to go somewhere or he may be able to tell you where to look.

Does anyone know of the years that will fit? I have located a couple pairs but am not sure if they would swap right in. Don't really want to shell out 4 times the money to buy downeys or OME's.

Specifically, will 97 Cruiser coils fit?
