Aisin hubs going on in a couple of days

I've always liked to have my vehicle looking pretty stock. It draws less attention...from unsavory characters. Goodies on the outside mean goodies on the inside.

Victor, those locking hubs are looking good. You want to keep a low profile huh! You're right about that to keep the appearance like a stock plastic center caps. Since I painted the dial yellow, a lot of people are asking me why my center caps are yellow. They draw too much attention because they are pretty visible from a distance. Now, I have to get an alarm.

Car theft isn't the huge problem here that it was say 10 years ago but with Mexico 10 mins south no matter where you are in town having any flashy stuff on your car is not condusive to owning a vehicle. I noticed while I was in Seattle last summer that people drive a lot more friendly and seem to be looking out for each other. I also saw lots of very nice cars that weren't locked up like a vault. An alarm is good but if someone wants your car bad enough they'll get it - so I'll just try to keep it on the down lo!

HAHAHAHAHA..... I love it!! Victor, people are gonna think you're brain damaged the 1st time you stop on the trail and "lock in" your center caps!! Even knowing what you've done, you still have to look pretty hard in the pic to see the dial. A little "road grime" and they'll be invisible..
